Mission: BigEd.org’s mission is to alleviate a small portion of the financial stress and anxiety of cancer patients and their families, by providing them with assistance with their daily living expenses such as utilities, groceries, and those expenses incurred in the frequent trips to the hospital.

BigEd.org was created in memory and honor of Eddie (Big Ed) Hall. Eddie was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2007. He never gave up his fight with cancer, but eventually the disease won and he passed away on September 15, 2008. During Eddie’s treatment he made a promise to volunteer and help those people who were less fortunate then himself. He understood the gift of life and how precious it is. He went through a number of treatments and knew the difficulties of maintaining a “normal” life while being treated for this terrible disease. Unfortunately Eddie was never able to fulfill his promise.

Eddie made a promise and BigEd.org was created to keep it. Cancer affects more then the individual who has been diagnosed. It also deeply affects their families and friends. Please consider helping keep Eddie’s promise to these families and make a donation to BigEd.org.
