Providing the little things that make big differences in the lives of cancer patients and their families
Honoring Big Ed’s Promise
Never Give Up
Eddie (Big Ed) Hall was a great husband, father, brother and son, and a warm friend to all who knew him. Despite a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle, Eddie was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2007. Athletic and determined, Big Ed never gave up his fight with cancer, but sadly, the disease eventually won, and he passed away on September 15, 2008.
Making a Big Ed Difference
Since 2008, BigEd.org has been helping cancer patients in the Boston area, and their families -directly- by providing funds for basic necessities.
While large cancer nonprofits focus on raising important funds for cancer research, BigEd.org helps providing funds to cover the little daily living expenses that can add up during treatment.
BigEd.org recognized as a Mass General “The One Hundred” program honoree. This program recognizes 100 individuals and organizations each year for their outstanding contributions to the fight against cancer.

Maximizing Your Impact
BigEd.org is an all-volunteer run charitable organization
We have no paid directors, and we pay no salaries. That means that virtually all of your donations go directly to supporting cancer patients and their families.
So when we say every dollar matters, we mean it! Please consider giving whatever you feel you can afford - and know that you'll be making a difference in the life of a cancer patient.
And because we're a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, your donation may qualify to be tax deductible.
